On May 30th, YEP had the opportunity to experience Colonial Williamsburg Chef’s Garden Tour and Tasting. Our theme was CHOCOLATE. We met in the Taste Studio and were welcomed by Executive Chef Ryhs Lewis and Pastry Chef Rodney Diehl. They treated us to a Chocolate Martini, created with Lillet and Lavender infused Ciroc Vodka. Williamsburg Craft Beer Festival Donates to Local Charities

For its first year, Williamsburg Craft Beer Festival raised more than $11,000 for nonprofits serving the local community. In April the Rotary Club of Williamsburg and the Young Emerging Professionals of Williamsburg teamed up for a day of craft beer in the city’s downtown area. The event was sold out, and the committee organizing it plans to announce a date for 2015 in the fall. Membership Appreciation Event

The annual Summer Breeze concerts in Merchants Square return to Duke of Gloucester Street for the 22nd season. We will be sectioning off an area in Merchant Square just for YEP members at the Summer Breeze Concert Series, featuring Party Fins (Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band). Food and drinks will be provided, but lawn chairs are encouraged. This is a great way to kick off the new membership season!

First Social of 2013 a Success

Our first social event of 2013 was a success! YEP held an open house at The Corner Pocket in New Town on Tuesday, January 22. We welcomed some old faces and many new ones, and great conversation was had by all.
