Executive Committee & Board Members

Elisa Hernandez, President

Elisa Hernandez is the current YEP President. She has lived in Williamsburg for over 18 years.  After graduating from Lafayette High School in 2009 she went to James Madison University where she graduated with a Degree in Hospitality Management and Business. Go Dukes! 

Elisa has been the Director of Membership and Events at Williamsburg Golf Club since June of 2014. She has a passion for organization, planning and bringing people together!

In her free time she enjoys boating, road trips, and breweries. She has been a YEP Board Member since 2015 and has enjoyed getting to meet other young professionals in the area.


Vince Campana, Vice President

Vince A. Campana, III acquired his Real Estate Salesman license after graduating from Walsingham Academy in Williamsburg, Va at the age of eighteen. Afterwards he attended Radford University and then Christopher Newport University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in History.  Beyond real estate, Vince is active with various organizations such as the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce and the York County Chamber of Commerce.

He is also a professional skydiver at Virginia Skydiving Center when he is not selling real estate and has over 1,000 jumps to date.




Brad Bonney, Treasurer

Brad Bonney is an Assistant Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager with C&F Bank. He specializes in C&I, CRE and A&D lending. His goal is to create long-term trusted

relationships with his clients and become an asset for all of their business needs.

Brad joined the C&F team in 2013, where he worked on the commercial credit underwriting team. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked in real estate construction and development. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where he earned a Bachelor of Science and a MBA. Brad resides in Williamsburg with his wife, Caitlin, and they enjoy traveling together, spending time on the James River and hiking the Blue Ridge mountains whenever possible.

Ben Ellington, Professional and Community Development

Ben Ellington, always well known for his smile, is a Vice President and Regional Commercial Loan Officer with Chesapeake Bank, a 117- year-old community bank serving customers all along the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia.  He started his career in finance in 2003, and in 2013 left a successful position with a community bank in Atlanta’s southern crescent to test his skills with a startup in Newport News.  After being acquired by a large bank in 2015, he decided to get back to his community banking roots.  Ben’s professional mission entails focusing on his clients’ bottom lines and their overall success.  His unique blend of experience comes from years of working with veteran business bankers who were willing to

share their wealth of knowledge with him.  Dedicated to his community, he often volunteers time with local non-profits and community organizations.  He recently served as Chairman for the 2016 AHA Heart Chase in Williamsburg, which raised over $30,000, and on the judging panel for Start Peninsula 2016.  An avid outdoorsman, Ben spends much of his free time on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay fishing and crabbing.  Ben received a degree in Ag & Applied Economics from The University of Georgia, furthered his education at The Graduate School of Banking at LSU, and recently received a financial technology certification from MIT.

Bonnie Bowling, Membership Director

Bonnie is a Williamsburg native, who works as an IT and Customer Service Manager for a D.C. based company, 2U, inc. After completing her undergraduate degree in English from George Mason University in 2009, she stayed in the D.C. area for almost 10 years. During that time, she also completed her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Kaplan University. In 2015, she moved back to Williamsburg to be closer to her friends and family.
Currently, Bonnie is working on her doctorate degree in Organizational Change and Leadership with the University of Southern California. Her end goal is to be a change agent for institutions to improve the quality of their online delivered programs.
In her free time, you can often find her enjoying the local breweries and festivals, hanging out by the pool/on the water, or volunteering her time for community events.
As the newest board member, she looks forward to bringing more folks to the group as well as connecting people socially and professionally!”

Sarah Kuehl, Events Director

Sarah Kuehl is the new YEP Events Coordinator (yes?). She grew up in the area and worked as a Paralegal for 6 years before earning her Real Estate License in 2017. Sarah is affiliated with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and specializes in residential sales and purchases.  

Sarah has served on other non-profit boards and often volunteers in the community. In her free time she enjoys home-brewing, attending outdoor events and spending time with her young daughter. Sarah has been involved with YEP since 2012; finding the organization to be an invaluable resource for building professional relationships as well as being a lot of fun!


Ron Campana, Immediate Past President

Ron is the Immediate Past President of YEP and Co-Founded the organization in 2007. He is a commercial real estate broker with Campana Waltz Commercial Real Estate, LLC and has been instrumental in the sale and lease of numerous properties in the Hampton Roads area since the company’s inception in 2006.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Ron was on the Dean’s List, as well as, an active member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. Ron is distinguished by his dedication and active involvement in the Community; he found the largest based community blood drive on the East Coast. Ron is actively involved with the Williamsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Hampton Roads Association of Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE), Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Ron is also an Eagle Scout with Williamsburg’s Troop 103. He is the chair for the Board of Zoning Appeals for James City County, is on the executive board for the Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance, and is a multiple recipient of the Membership Star of the Year from the Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance. Ron is also an avid actor and was raised in Williamsburg where he still resides.

He is very excited to usher in the 10th year of YEP and looks forward to meeting and working with all existing and new members to the organization.
